Everyday new things happening around us. And each one of us only sees what our eyes could see, feels what touches us directly, hears as far as our ears could hear, tastes only the food we take, or smells what nose could smell. It means not all of us knows the event that is beyond the five senses. With this, Prudence Charlz creates a journal that everyone could share to others about places, things, food, and people using our senses.

What would be your story?

It was an unexpected turn out but at the same time I am thankful to all of you who have shown your interest and trust with Prudence Charlz Web site after I officially relaunched it last October 19.

Expect for more news and stories coming in the next days. Keep visiting.

Reformation -- New Prudence Charlz

Posted by Prudence Charlz On 9:58 AM 0 comments
It's been almost four months since I last published Prudence Charlz. I've been into months of thinking what's really store and next. I don't want to leave, but I could not continue as well. However, I don't want to fail. Failing without doing anything.

This year, Prudence Charlz would be active again after changing the format from "Bridging the Gap between Consumer and Enterprise," to "My Journal. Your Journal." It would be different since Prudence Charlz will "not only" touch the topics on business, most especially savings and spendings, but as well as Sports, Travel, Events, Entertainment, Anime, Games, Arts and Designs, Career, and (still on thinking whether to include or not) Love and Relationship.

These topics are close to Prudence Charlz. And she would like to give also attention to additional matters for her online magazine.

Since it will her JOURNAL and YOUR JOURNAL, she will encourage others to share their experiences as if Prudence Charlz is also their journal. You may use "I" in your story however the story is not really about "you." Prudence Charlz is still the place for providing information based on others' personal encounters on the topics mentioned above. But since Prudence Charlz has not enough budgets, she appreciates if contributors are willing to send their stories in exchange of name credits only.

You may email your inquiry at inquiry@prudencecharlz.com.

COMMENTS ARE WELCOME AND IMPORTANT

In the new improved online magazine, readers will have the chance to write their comments or share their views in relation to the story. And comments are important.

Suggestions are also welcome and appreciated.

RELAUNCHING

Prudence Charlz has no definite date yet of relaunching. She is still working on the her own new online magazine. But she hopes the 2010 is the right year for this relaunching event.

She will be announcing it here on InfoBlog, Facebook, and Twitter and will send emails to previous subscribers.

Monday Delay

Posted by Prudence Charlz On 12:50 PM 0 comments

First of all, I apologize for the delay of Prudence Charlz eNewsletter. Something went wrong with my connection. It has started last Saturday night when I was still using the telephone and then the line got cut for no apparent reason. My significant other already reported it, but unfortunately there is something wrong with the cabinet where our telephone line is connected. Just yesterday afternoon, my telephone and DSL got back and it's definitely back to work. May be this is the disadvantage of working from home, it’s hard to follow up complaints since I only have one telephone line and our home is far where I could get access to free wifi connection. But nevertheless, I am still glad that our provider is doing action to fix everything.

While you are aiming for something good, something always went wrong. This may be a question to me, how far could I go? If I give up at this moment for sure I would not publish and finish my 5th issue and seek for new career path (which just last week I gave up an opportunity to work and travel and stay with Prudence Charlz and other business lines). But I told myself that so long as I have readers waiting for Prudence Charlz and there are companies trusting her, I would keep on going. It is the job I have chosen and I know income is still not close at hand, but I know everything has a reason. Prudence Charlz exists because there are people I would like to share my views and assist them in their savings and spending and improvement/innovation in my own little ways.

But of course, I would not be hypocrite or lie that I would not want to earn, since I have established this business as a for profit company definitely I have to earn income. And the income I would get will help me to continue. Eventually from this profit I also aim to play small part in Philippine transformation and to support education and jobs. Hoping that someday Filipinos would love to work here and be not far with their families or would just go out of the country just to explore the world. This is my goal. And I would not mind asking for your support because I know I could not do this alone.

Without further ado here’s the preview of Prudence Charlz 5th issue to be published this coming Monday, June 28.

The Story of a Frequent Traveler

Everyone wants to save money because everyone needs extra cash. If you love to travel, you may find it hard to save because the hobby costs a lot. This is especially so when you have kids to bring in tow. Based on experience, I realized that hitting the road with a child is much costlier. But, kids or nor kids, you shouldn't sacrifice your vacation just because you want to save money. There are some things you can do to travel cheap.

AUB for Better Service

There is no stopping someone when he or she wants to improve. Like the domestic commercial bank Asia United Bank (AUB), it definitely looks for means to provide quality service not only for its internal clients but also for external customers. Part of their improvement is the integration of a new solution to their document management.

Nokia Gives You More with Ovi Store

Nothing is better than a free gift item and a huge discount to make life a little bit sweeter. With Nokia, you get both—and more!

The Nokia Stories Contest

To celebrate nine solid years of being the Reader’s Digest Trusted Brand Platinum awardee when it comes to mobile phones, Nokia has launched a three-month contest called the Nokia Stories.

Toys for All Ages

Who says toys are just for kids? They are for all. And they played a major role in toy collectors and binding families and friends in another successful annual Toy Convention held last June 19 to 20 at SM Megatrade Hall, Mandaluyong City.

Salary Increase to Increase Sales?

This July 1, workers all over Metro Manila will enjoy P22 increase in minimum wage, which would sum P404 a day (or P533 with add ons like overtime pay and other financial benefits) or P13,042 on monthly basic pay. Most of the minimum wage earners are glad with this turn out. However, some companies are may be worried since they think their revenue and income will be affected. I may be not expert to understand the financial statues of the companies or the Philippine economy, but this increase would also help various companies here in our country.

Comments are highly appreciated for the improvement of Prudence Charlz. Thank you for your constant support and trust.

The phrase “the customer is always right” was coined by businessman Harry Gordon Selfridge. About Me

Prudence Charlz was just a pen name for promoting other blog sites and for sharing views and opinions through her blog. It was just a name for sharing stories. But last November 2009, Jasmin has dreamed on using Prudence Charlz as a name that would assist Filipinos and Philippine consumers and companies. And it became a reality when she published her first-ever eNewsletter holding the mission of “Bridging the Gap between Consumer and Enterprise” last May 20, 2010 and made the news and features accessible through www.prudencecharlz.com. She got nice feedback from her friends and readers from all over the metro and even reached Filipinos in Dubai, United Arab Emirates and Singapore. But on July 2010, Prudence Charlz went on a vacation since Jasmin has to focus on her freelance work in creative and multimedia. It was also the time for her to think more about the name that would like to create a “name” for bringing even small changes in the lives of Filipinos. This might be still not within reach, however, but someday it will be. And that would only be the start of her story.
