First of all, I apologize for the delay of Prudence Charlz eNewsletter. Something went wrong with my connection. It has started last Saturday night when I was still using the telephone and then the line got cut for no apparent reason. My significant other already reported it, but unfortunately there is something wrong with the cabinet where our telephone line is connected. Just yesterday afternoon, my telephone and DSL got back and it's definitely back to work. May be this is the disadvantage of working from home, it’s hard to follow up complaints since I only have one telephone line and our home is far where I could get access to free wifi connection. But nevertheless, I am still glad that our provider is doing action to fix everything.
While you are aiming for something good, something always went wrong. This may be a question to me, how far could I go? If I give up at this moment for sure I would not publish and finish my 5th issue and seek for new career path (which just last week I gave up an opportunity to work and travel and stay with Prudence Charlz and other business lines). But I told myself that so long as I have readers waiting for Prudence Charlz and there are companies trusting her, I would keep on going. It is the job I have chosen and I know income is still not close at hand, but I know everything has a reason. Prudence Charlz exists because there are people I would like to share my views and assist them in their savings and spending and improvement/innovation in my own little ways.
But of course, I would not be hypocrite or lie that I would not want to earn, since I have established this business as a for profit company definitely I have to earn income. And the income I would get will help me to continue. Eventually from this profit I also aim to play small part in Philippine transformation and to support education and jobs. Hoping that someday Filipinos would love to work here and be not far with their families or would just go out of the country just to explore the world. This is my goal. And I would not mind asking for your support because I know I could not do this alone.
Without further ado here’s the preview of Prudence Charlz 5th issue to be published this coming Monday, June 28.
The Story of a Frequent Traveler
Everyone wants to save money because everyone needs extra cash. If you love to travel, you may find it hard to save because the hobby costs a lot. This is especially so when you have kids to bring in tow. Based on experience, I realized that hitting the road with a child is much costlier. But, kids or nor kids, you shouldn't sacrifice your vacation just because you want to save money. There are some things you can do to travel cheap.

There is no stopping someone when he or she wants to improve. Like the domestic commercial bank Asia United Bank (AUB), it definitely looks for means to provide quality service not only for its internal clients but also for external customers. Part of their improvement is the integration of a new solution to their document management.

Salary Increase to Increase Sales?
This July 1, workers all over Metro Manila will enjoy P22 increase in minimum wage, which would sum P404 a day (or P533 with add ons like overtime pay and other financial benefits) or P13,042 on monthly basic pay. Most of the minimum wage earners are glad with this turn out. However, some companies are may be worried since they think their revenue and income will be affected. I may be not expert to understand the financial statues of the companies or the Philippine economy, but this increase would also help various companies here in our country.
